Do you have a liquor license?
No, not currently. Maelee is a mobile tap truck available for rental that will dispense alcoholic beverages OR we can come to your event and sell/serve non-alcoholic beverages made right here in the tri-state!
That means you, the venue or your caterer must supply/purchase the alcohol. We can help you every step of the way in getting you in contact with the right people to ensure you have the perfect menu of options for Maelee’s 4 taps!
Is a bartender needed?
Yes! We include bartending services as part of our base package.
Working with a venue and/or caterer that is providing the bar service? No problem! We are happy to allow them to staff Maelee for the event. We will work with them leading up to the event on the ins & outs of Maelee’s equipment.
What is the rental cost?
Every event is unique, so we produce a custom quote for each event based upon your needs as the host. Contact us with the details of your event, and we are happy to get a quote ready for you!
Is electricity needed?
Yes - to keep the drinks cold and flowing all day/night long, Maelee’s kegerators require access to a standard 110V outlet(s).
No outlets available? Don’t worry! We have a quiet, portable generator available that is included in every event package!
My event is indoors?
No problem, as long as there are double doors available for entry!
Maelee is small enough to fit in standard double doors (where there is no middle frame between the doors or it is removable). Approximate dimensions are: 10.5’ x 5’ x 6’ (L x W x H)
What’s included in a rental?
All base packages include the tap truck rental, drop off and setup, plus teardown and pick-up. We also include clear plastic cups at the appropriate size for the drinks of choice in all packages (plus lids & straws where needed).
Decorations can also be included in the package (some included in base price, others for small rental fees) - decorative tables/chairs, firepits, picture frames and other small decor items for Maelee’s shelves, glassware/stemware, etc. We will do everything we can to make it the PERFECT setup to meet the dreams for your event!
Are you insured?
Yes! We have full coverage general liability insurance, with copies available on request.
We do not have any form of alcohol/liquor insurance. Either the vendor serving the alcohol will provide, or you will obtain yourself for private events. We can help guide you in the direction of answers on this.
Where do you travel?
Anywhere - we always love a good adventure! Travel to and from your event within 25 miles of Newburgh IN is included in all rental packages, but we will travel anywhere you tell us we need to be outside the 25 mile radius for a small fee.
Can I decorate Maelee?
Yes! We will work with you to go through your vision for the event do decide how to make that come true. We have some décor items available in the package (or for a small rental fee), and also have many trusted vendors we can help get you in touch with to fulfill your needs!
We can also discuss prior to the event if you plan to personally decorate. As a rule of thumb, we will not allow decorations to be attached to Maelee in any way, but anything on the shelves or around the vehicle is perfectly acceptable!
